Under the project of delivery of the  data warehousing project to Kyivstar GSM, the initial deployment has been extended with additional set of processing nodes, the move which allowed to improve the the total storage capacity of the system as well as to boost its speed performance.

High scalability of Teradata DBMS allowed for simple integration of additional hardware as well as to improve overall speed performance.

Softline Business Intelligence joins the data warehousing project for Kyivstar GSM, the leading telecommunication company in Ukraine. NCR Teradata, the general contractor under the arrangement is one of the world's leading suppliers of the data warehousing solutions and serves more than 80% of the telecommunicational companies.

The project assumes development of data warehouse based on Teradata RDBMS. Sunopsis was chosen as an ETL tool.

Softline Business Intelligence has attended DOCFLOW Ukraine 2006, second annual technical conference and exhibition on electronic document flow and business process management, which took place at Ukrainian House, in Kiev.

SBI experts have successfully completed a weekly training on practical use of Teradata database. The training was rendered by a Teradata Educational Department expert (London, UK). Presently, SBI is the only company in Ukraine possessing experience in practical implementations of Teradata DBMS, a solution based on massively-parallel data processing.
